Summary:
This series contains various reports, plans, and campaign speeches from the Rockefeller and Carey administrations. These records
may have been collected for use by transition teams in the Carey and/or Mario Cuomo administrations. Records include a report
concerning sentencing of adult criminals, the history of sentencing, sentencing disparity, parole, probation, and other policies
and practices; a group of reports from state agencies detailing contingency plans for an anticipated strike by state workers;
and a handbook published by the Office of Legislative Services on the budget process.
