Scope and Content Note
This volume, labeled "Hospital Record Attica Prison" lists admission, treatment, and discharge information for 14, 843 inmates of the Attica Correctional Facility.
Information is present under all or some of the following headings: inmate name, inmate number, location (often blank), date admitted, diagnosis, complications, treatment, date discharged, results (cured, improved, recovered, etc.), sequelae (after effects or secondary injury), assignment (returned to work, invalided, observation, etc.), and remarks (referral, death date, refusal of treatment, etc.).
