The series consists of approximately 200 color slides of survey maps of the Chenango Canal. The slides were made in 1988 from original maps held in the State Archives. They were produced by the Town of Chenango and provided to the Archives as use copies for reference purposes.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
