Summary:
This series consists of transmittal letters sent to the New York State Library recording the revocation and subsequent surrender
of approximately two dozen educational charters. These letters accompanied the charters or certificates of registration surrendered
to the Regents upon revocation or termination. The letters typically state the name of the institution, status of the revoked
charter (i.e., provisional, amended, recalled), and date of revocation and/or date the charter was initially granted by the
Regents.
