The series consists of approximately 120 picture post cards, most of which were sent by employees or students of the Syracuse
State School to staff members. All cards are stamped and cancelled. The color pictures typically show cities and landscapes
primarily, but not exclusively, within New York State. Some appear to be reports from former students or their families. Fewer
post cards were used for "business" messages.
