Custodial History

The cards were created ca. 1959 by members of the Daughters of the American Revolution acting as volunteers for the New York State Library. The series was transferred to the state archives in 1978 but was not formally accessioned until 2000.

The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
