Scope and Content Note
This series consists of a complete set of printed forms used by the Canal Corporation and its predecessor agencies to document activities related to the state's canal system. Although most of the forms were created specifically for the Department of Transportation's Division of Waterway Maintenance, some are standard commercial forms, and some were produced by other government agencies such as the U.S. Dept. of Commerce.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
