In February 2002 the NYSDOT Map Information Unit was discontinued, and its staff and services transferred to the NYS Office for Technology. At that time older, non-current but archival copies of various series of maps were transferred to the Archives. The maps included in this series, series B1804 Highway Corridor Maps, and series B1806 Urban Area Maps were accessioned under RDA 20986.
