These cards were initially transferred to the State Archives by the State Library in 1978 but somehow became alienated from the initial transfer. They were subsequently identified and accessioned by State Archives staff in 2005 as part of a project to integrate or describe estrayed or unidentified records.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
