Scope and Content Note
This series consists primarily of paper copies of large scale maps of the State of New York. Additional copies of maps on mylar are also included. Each sheet depicts one of four regions of the state and measures approximately 40x55 inches. When joined together, the sections create a map of the entire state measuring approximately 7x5 feet. These maps were created for sale by the Department of Transportation.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
