Scope and Content Note
This series of newsletters was created to inform the public about events, activities, and accomplishments of the State Division of Human Rights. The series also contains newsletters of predecessor agencies-the State Commission Against Discrimination and the State Commission for Human Rights. Also included is a special newspaper edition of the New York Amsterdam News celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the agency in 1956.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
