Photographs in this series were created during multiple year aerial flights and are either 1:24000 or 1:40000 in scale. The images include positive black and white prints, color positive prints, and infrared positives. Most images are on paper; some transparencies are included. Many are annotated. The envelopes containing the photographs include information such as quadrangle name, date, scale, "flown for," and "flown by." Envelopes also have annotated photocopy details of the portions of the quadrangles covered by the photographs. Aerial photographs in B2009-09 measure 9 x 9 inches, while photographs in accretion B2009-09A measure 17 x 17 inches.
