Summary:
This series consists of appointment cards or visitor passes issued by the superintendent of an unnamed (presumably) correctional facility authorizing interviews or visits between inmates and visitors. Slips provide name of inmate and brief relationship to visitor and are signed by the clerk of the "cage and guard room office" and by the supervising officer.

Scope and Content Note

This series consists of appointment cards or visitor passes issued by the superintendent of an unnamed (presumably) correctional facility authorizing interviews or visits between inmates and visitors. Slips provide name of inmate and brief relationship to visitor (mother, father, wife, etc.) and are signed by the clerk of the "cage and guard room office" and by the supervising officer. Cards are mounted in a large canvas bound scrapbook.
