Scope and Content Note

This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible websites of Helen Hayes Hospital, a physical rehabilitation research and treatment facility operated by the New York State Department of Health. Researchers should note that this site was not captured in 2014 or 2015.

B2123-07: This accretion consists of a copy of the Helen Hayes Hospital site produced on May 4, 2007, shortly after Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains press releases (1998-2006), department and staff directories, and charts summarizing patient outcomes for various conditions. Also present is information about the hospital's inpatient and outpatient programs for people with cardiopulmonary disease, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and a wide array of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Lists of publications and other materials relating to the hospital's research into neural recovery and rehabilitation and osteoporosis and other bone diseases are also included.

Researchers should note that the navigational links at the top of each page do not work; however, the navigational links at the bottom of each page, which provide access to the same content, do work properly.

B2123-08: This accretion includes a copy of the Helen Hayes Hospital site produced on August 22, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains additional press releases (1998-2008), department and staff directories, and updated charts summarizing patient outcomes for various conditions. Updated lists of publications and other materials relating to the hospital's research are also included.

B2123-10: This accretion consists of a copy of the Helen Hayes Hospital site produced on December 29, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains additional press releases (1998-2010), department and staff directories, and updated charts summarizing patient outcomes for various conditions. Updated information about the hospital's inpatient and outpatient programs and lists of publications and other materials relating to the hospital's research are also included.

Researchers should note that the navigational links at the top and left side of each page do not work; however, the navigational links at the bottom of each page, which provide access to the same content, do work properly. In addition, the "Virtual Tour" does not work.

B2123-19: This accretion consists of a copy of the Helen Hayes Hospital site produced on December 24, 2019, during the third term of office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo (2011-2021). It contains additional press releases (2004-2019); updated information about the hospital's inpatient, outpatient, and specialty services; and information and resources for patients and visitors.
