Scope and Content Note

This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible Web sites of the Lake George Park Commission.

B2133-07: This accretion consists of a copy of the Lake George Park Commission site produced on December 27, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains information about the commission's mission and organizational structure, meeting minutes (2004-2006), newsletters (2003, 2005-2006), application forms, instructions for boat operators, fee schedules, press releases (2005-2006), and publications (2003-2006) about Lake George Park and operating boats on Lake George. Also present is information concerning the commission's regulations and programs, including: dock, mooring and boat restrictions, marine patrol, inspections and anti-pollution hotline, storm water management plans and regulations, wastewater management, and invasive species prevention. Maps of Lake George Park and a Tree Clearing and Stream Corridor Preservation Plan (2005) are also included.

B2133-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the Lake George Park Commission Web site produced on May 13, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains information about the commission's mission and organizational structure, meeting minutes (2004-2008), newsletters (2003, 2005-2008), press releases (2005), instructions for boat operators, fee schedules for the park, press releases (2005), and publications (2003-2008) about Lake George Park and operating boats on Lake George. In addition there is information on the commission's programs: Water Quality, Watershed & Scenic Protection, Lakeshore Protection, Marine Patrol, Lake Safety & Recreation Quality, Invasive Species Prevention, Stream Corridor Management/Recreational Study programs. Maps of Lake George Park, a Lake George Water-Based Recreation Study Plan (2006), meeting minutes (2004-2008) and information about operating private watercraft on Lake George are also included.

B2133-10: This accretion consists of a copy of the Lake George Park Commission site produced on December 29, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains information about the commission's mission and regulations, a board of directors meeting agenda (December 21, 1010), newsletters (2003, 2005-2010), a press release (2010), and information about various permit programs for boat operators and stormwater management on Lake George. Also present is information concerning the commission's programs, including: Water Quality, Watershed and Scenic Protection, Lakeshore Protection, Marine Patrol, Lake Safety and Recreational Quality, Invasive Species Prevention, and Stream Corridor Management/Recreational study. Maps of Lake George Park, stream corridor maps, and information about the commission's pollution hotline are also included.
