Scope and Content Note

This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website of the New York State Law Revision Commission.

B2134-07: This accretion consists of a copy of the Law Revision Commission site produced on December 26, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains information about the commission's mission and organizational structure and reports (2001-2006) recommending revisions to the Mental Hygiene Law (guardianship), the General Obligations Law (powers of attorney), the Insurance Law (spousal exception to liability coverage), the Lien Law (mechanic's liens), and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (secured transactions).

B2134-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the Law Revision Commission Web site produced on May 12, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). Most of the information contained within this copy is also present in the December 26, 2006 copy.

B2134-10: This accretion consists of a copy of the Law Revision Commission site produced on December 17, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. Most of the information included in this copy is also present in older copies, but this copy also contains study reports (2008-2010) about the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, powers of attorney, and maintenance awards.

B2134-16: This accretion consists of a copy of the Law Revision Commission site produced on December 27, 2016. It contains information about the commission's mission, organizational structure, and operations. Also present are meeting notices (2007-11); materials relating to proposed and implemented revisions of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law (2013-14); and reports and other materials (2008-2014) recommending revisions to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law and laws governing powers of attorney and maintenance awards. Researchers should note that, owing to the formatting of the live Web site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, the appearance of the archived site differs from that of the live site.

B2134-19: This accretion consists of a copy of the Law Revision Commission site produced on December 27, 2019. Its content and appearance are virtually identical to that of the December 27, 2016 copy.
