B2183-20: This accretion consists of a copy of the Department of Taxation and Finance site produced on February 24, 2020. It contains background information about the department, newer press releases (2017-2020), and resources for individuals, businesses, real property owners, tax professionals, researchers, and government policymakers, including: filing instructions, tax forms and publications (1985-2019), advisory opinions, and technical memorandums. Also present are publications relating to various tax topics, including the Handbook of New York State and Local Taxes (2012), the New York State Sourcebook (undated), special reports concerning the tax preparation industry, brownfield tax credits, news media and the Internet, and other topics.

Researchers should note that navigating through this copy may retrieve pages that are part of the December 20, 2010 copy of the site. If this happens, click the Browser's Back button until the home page of this copy is displayed and then navigate directly to the desired content. Attempting to access older tax forms and publications via the Individuals, Businesses, and Property Owners sections of the site will almost always redirect to the December 20, 2010 copy; to avoid this problem, access this information via the Tax Professionals section of the February 24, 2020 copy. Researchers should also note that some of the statistical data highlighted in this copy was actually housed on another website and could not be captured properly.
