Scope and Content Note

This series consists of archival copies of the official website of Senator Michael F. Nozzolio. Researchers should note that in 2009, each Senator was allotted space on the main Senate website and the official sites of individual Senators were removed from the live Web.

B2244-07: This accretion consists of an archival copy of Senator Nozzolio's official website produced on December 22, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains biographical information, photographs, a district map, press releases (2001-2006) detailing Senator Nozzolio's opposition to a Cayuga Indian Nation application to have recently purchased land placed in federal trust; and information about issues of interest to his constituents. Information about a proposed veterans cemetery in Seneca County, Owasco Lake environmental protection measures, tax relief provisions in the 2006-07 Executive Budget, and other issues is also included.

B2244-08: This accretion consists of a copy of Senator Nozzolio's official website produced on June 13, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains biographical information, photographs, press releases (2008), and a district map. Information about the redevelopment of the former Seneca Army Depot, funding for major construction projects in Geneva, and other matters of interest to Senator Nozzolio's constituents and a copy of the June 2008 preliminary report of the State Commission on Property Tax Relief are also included.

Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, some of the information contained within this site could not be captured properly in mid-2008. In addition, some of the navigational links do not work properly. However, identical sets of navigational links appear at the top and the bottom of each page. If the link in one set does not work correctly, click the Web browser's Back button and then click on the corresponding link in the other set.
