Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible website maintained by the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services and snapshots of social media content created by the division.
B2294-10: This accretion consists of a copy of the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services site produced on December 20, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains information about the division's mission and organizational structure; press releases (2010); cyber security guidelines (2010); pertinent laws and regulations; and publications (some in Spanish and French as well as English) about emergency prevention and planning, homeland security, and the prevention of terrorism.
Researchers should note that, owing to technical problems and limits of web archiving technology, most of the site could not be captured in 2010. In addition, repeated attempts to capture the division's Twitter, YouTube and Facebook pages in late 2010 were not successful.
