Scope and Content Note
This series consists of receipts received by the Education Department from individual schools acknowledging receipt from the department of wooden plaques bearing bronze impressions of the seal issued by the Hudson-Fulton Celebration Commission, and giving assurances that the plaques and medals would be conspicuously displayed in the office of the president or principal of each school. Each receipt gives name of school, signature of principal, and date of receipt by the department.
