Scope and Content Note
This series consists of the subject files of the Counsel to the Governor's office which relate to New York State courts. Records include correspondence, memoranda, telegrams, press releases, reports, hearings, lists and charts relating to the New York State Courts and the Temporary State Commission on the Courts. The records focus on court organization and appointments, salaries and workloads of judges.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
