This series contains annual reports from the Office of Planning Coordination (created by Chapter 528 of the Laws of 1966) and the Office of Planning Services within the Executive Department. They list the functions, powers and duties of the entities and provide details regarding regional planning as well as current research activities and the statewide development plan. The Office of Planning Services annual reports also provide detail on the Land Use and Natural Resources (LUNR) Inventory that examines the land uses, natural resources and physiographic conditions around the state.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
