Scope and Content Note
This series consists of daily inventories of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies on-hand and printed formulary volumes for the Rome State School, later the Rome Developmental Center. The inventories document the daily dispensing of drugs and supplies, indicating the wards or colonies to which they pertained. They also list the specific drugs, supplies, and the quantity dispensed. The formulary volumes served as a procedural manual for the pharmacy, providing information on rules, the various types of drugs and supplies, and the amounts of drugs and supplies to keep on hand.
