This series contains correspondence, briefing documents, reports and other records created by the office of the Special Assistant
to the Commissioner. The records relate to the carrying out of special duties and projects assigned by the Commissioner or
Executive Deputy Commissioner.
B2521-90B: This accretion contains the records of Robert F. Cross, who worked in this role from 1983-1988. It contains records
on land acquisitions, pesticides, asbestos, acid rain, work and collaborations with other state agencies, and marine and wildlife
resources.
B2521-99: This accretion consists of the subject and correspondence files (1973-1980) of J. Winthrop Aldrich. While the records
consist primarily of correspondence files, various reports, memoranda, journal articles and newspaper clippings are also present.
In addition, this accretion includes copies of monthly departmental reports to the Governor for the years 1979-1980.
