Records identifying patients are restricted in accordance with Section 33.13, Mental Hygiene Law, relating to confidentiality of clinical records. Access is permitted under certain conditions upon approval by the Office of Mental Health.

The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
