Scope and Content Note
This series consists of published Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) guides pertaining to the regulation of small and big game hunting; fishing; and trapping. Also included is a small collection of fiscal report pamphlets from the Conservation Fund Advisory Council and its successor, the Conservation Fund Advisory Board, as well as two copies of "A History of Small Game Season in New York State" from 1963 and 1970.
B2705-19A: This accretion includes published DEC guides, pamphlets, and reports relating to documentation of ecological communities across New York State; wildlife tracking methods, procedures, and studies; and wildlife recreation within parks and historic sites. Publications and relating documentation (such as memorandums and reports) contain information regarding the evolution of New York State ecological standards as promoted by DEC.
