Scope and Content Note

This series consists of binders of 35 mm color slides which relate to the activities of the Wildlife Pathology Unit and Endangered Species Unit within the Bureau of Wildlife. Images provide necropsy details and depict habitats, live animals, and dead specimens. Slides relate to such topics as pesticide poisonings, oil spills, and specific species including bald eagles and white-tailed deer. Most individual slides are dated. Additionally, many slides are labelled with contextual information such as location or medical terms and disease names related to the image.
