Scope and Content Note
This series contains copies of newsletters published by the Taconic Developmental Disabilities Services Office, and its predecessors, including the Wassaic State School and the Wassaic Developmental Center. These newsletters highlighted the activities of the patients and clients, as well as the staff, administration, and community. Publications include "School News," "Wassaic Horizon," "Taconic DDSO Horizon," "Dialogue," "Dutchess Life," "Giant Steps," "Artist Letters," "Wassaic News," and "Community League." Also included are promotional pamphlets and programs relating to special events at the facility.
