The Court of Appeals placed these records on deposit at the Historic Documents Collection, Queens College, from 1973-1982.
Series J0013 was originally interfiled by Court of Appeals with declarations and motion papers dating from 1838-1847. The latter records are now in Series J0009, Declarations (Utica).
Some Utica writs were originally filed with Series J0024, Writs of Arrest and Execution (Albany) before being removed to Series J0013.
