This series consists of a list of final decrees issued by the Chancellor that were docketed, at the request of any party involved in a case, when a decree required a money payment by the losing party. Information recorded includes name of party against whom decree was rendered; his county and place of residence; his title, trade, or profession; amount of damages, debt, or cost decreed; date and time of docketing; name of all parties involved in the case; and when (if) decree was discharged, reversed, or vacated.

Entries in the docket are arranged in columns. The law required the following information to be recorded: name of the party against whom the decree was rendered; his county and place of residence; his title, trade, or profession (usually blank); the amount of damages, debt, or cost decreed; the date and time of docketing; the name of all parties involved in the case; and when (if) the decree was reversed, discharged, or vacated.
