Summary:
This series consists of a photocopy of a handwritten notebook containing remarks about records of the Court of Chancery, Supreme
Court of Judicature, and other early courts that were transferred to the Court of Appeals in 1847. Also in the notebook are
notes and tipped-in newspaper clippings relating to topics in New York judicial history. Entries are undated, but scattered
references indicate that the notebook was compiled circa 1891-1948.
