Summary:
Card index provides access to individual documents in two large series of Supreme Court of Judicature pleadings and other
civil and criminal court documents: Series JN522 and Series JN535. An index card contains for each case document the names
of plaintiff and defendant, name of court, date of filing, and reference to the document code (year-letter-number). Multiple
plaintiffs are indexed individually.

Arrangement
Alphabetical by plaintiff name, either surname and given name, or corporation name. Sub-sections of the card index contain
cards for individuals mentioned in coroner's inquisitions, liquor licenses, and military commissions. Another sub-section
lists court minutes, which are not name-indexed.
