This volume contains attorneys' receipts for monies paid by judgment debtors to the sheriff of the city and county of New
York in full or partial satisfaction of money judgments. Each entry contains the name of the court, title of the case, amount
of payment, name of prevailing party's attorney, and his signature. There are entries for cases in both the Supreme Court
of Judicature and the Court of Common Pleas for the City and County of New York.
