John F. Duane was elected to the Assembly in November, 1982 as a Democrat from the 25th Assembly District (within Queens). Assemblyman Duane served a single term only. During his tenure, Assemblyman Duane served on the following Assembly Standing Committees: Aging, Consumer Affairs and Protection, Corporations, Authorities and Commissions, Energy, Judiciary, and Veteran's Affairs.
