Scope and Content Note
This series contains information gathered by the committee from individuals, consumer groups, government agencies, business associations, civic organizations, and others for its examination of consumer protection issues.
The series consists principally of correspondence, public hearing testimony, and printed materials relating to packaging, nutrition, food prices, and trading stamp practices. There is also printed material from consumer protection agencies in other states including regulations and sample legislation.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
