Summary:
These surveys were used to determine the effectiveness and need for improvement in Federal and State labor relations laws. Approximately 400 businesses and 250 labor unions answered questions on the role of government in guaranteeing rights of collective bargaining, the need for changes in collective bargaining laws; and the role of mediation and arbitration in settling labor disputes.. Also included are examples, correspondence, lists of businesses and unions receiving questionnaires, and response statistics.
