Administrative History
Martin M. Psaty, Democrat, represented the Fifth Assembly District of Queens County from 1963-1965. While in the State Assembly, he served on the Aviation, Internal Affairs, Printed and Engrossed Bills, and Public Institutions committees.
Scope and Content Note
This series consists of copies of bills, legislative and general correspondence, legal documents, memoranda, published material, and other related items, created and compiled by Martin M. Psaty. It is divided into three subseries: Correspondence, Subject Files, and Bills. Subjects documented in the records include: air pollution, education, and health.

Custodial History
These records were donated to the Syracuse University Library's Manuscripts and Special Collections in 1966 and 1969 by Martin Psaty. They were transferred to the New York State Archives in June 2006.
