Robert Watson Pomeroy, Jr., Republican, served in the New York State Assembly from 1947 to 1964 as a representative of Dutchess County. He served as Chairman of the Joint Legislative Committee on Natural Resources and the Assembly Committee of Public Service, and was a member of many other Assembly committees.
