Scope and Content Note
This series consists of monthly estimates for contracts on the Barge Canal. The estimates are on oversized sheets and mainly relate to payroll; equipment rentals and miscellaneous bills for the companies working on the contracts. The sheets related to payroll include contract number; company name; employee name, number and occupation; daily pay; rate and total amount paid. Sheets related to equipment include the make and model; value and total amounts. Signed affidavits and certificates of completion for the contracts are also included.
