Scope and Content Note
This series consists of travel briefing notebooks prepared for Governor Hugh Carey for trips to Onondaga and Monroe counties, including the cities of Syracuse and Rochester (July 1979); the cities of Rochester and Binghamton (June 1980); and Broome, Chemung and Steuben counties (October 1980). Material in the notebooks typically includes lists of appointments; local general election results; tables, statistics, and narratives concerning local economics; background information on issues likely to be discussed; and other information on a variety of topics of local concern.
