Scope and Content Note

The series consists of forty-four architectural and mechanical drawings of the 1915 renovation of the "State House" building located on Eagle Street, Albany, New York, for use by the New York State Court of Appeals. The drawings are ink renderings on "tracing cloth" (twenty-seven of which measure 42 x 54 inches; the remainder, 36 x 54 inches) drawn to a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot. The plans not only show structural alterations and/or additions, but heating, sanitary, and electrical modifications as well. It appears that some drawings are missing.
