This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible websites of the New York State Unified Court System.

B2078-07: This accretion consists of a copy of the Unified Court System's WebCivil Supreme site produced on December 26, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. This site furnishes information about civil cases in the state's Supreme Courts; however, owing to the structure of the site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, only the site's home page was copied successfully. Researchers should note that this accretion does not include a copy of the main Unified Court System Web site, which for technical reasons could not be captured properly prior to mid-2008.

B2078-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the main Unified Court System site produced on May 22, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains press releases (1997-2008), summary information about the history and organizational structure of the Unified Court System, and detailed information about the functions of the Court of Appeals, the Appellate Division, the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court and other trial courts, problem-solving courts, and town and village courts.

It also provides information about alternative dispute resolution, rules governing the attorney-client relationship, pro bono representation, the responsibilities of court-appointed guardians and fiduciaries, and other matters of interest to litigants and attorneys. Also included are criminal jury instructions, manuals, and other resources for judges and summary information about jury service. Researchers should note that this accretion does not include a copy of the WebCivil Supreme site, which for technical reasons could not be copied properly in mid-2008.

B2078-10: This accretion consists of a copy of the Unified Court System site produced on December 25, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains press releases (1997-2010), summary information about the history and organizational structure of the Unified Court System, and detailed information about the functions of the Court of Appeals, the Appellate Division, the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court and other trial courts, problem-solving courts, and town and village courts. It also provides information about alternative dispute resolution, rules governing the attorney-client relationship, pro bono representation, the responsibilities of court-appointed guardians and fiduciaries, information on representing oneself in court and other matters of interest to litigants and attorneys. Also included are criminal jury instructions, manuals, and other resources for judges and summary information about jury service.
