It contains press releases (2005-2006), public notices (2006), information about local and regional waterfront and watershed initiatives, summary information about state and federal coastal policies and consistency requirements, and state grant programs for waterfront development, watershed protection, brownfield remediation, and related projects.
B2130-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the Division of Coastal Resources site produced on June 5, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). Most of the information contained within this copy is also included in the December 30, 2006 copy, but newer press releases (2008) and public notices (2008) and updated information about local and regional initiatives, state and federal policies and requirements, and state grant programs is included.
B2130-10: This accretion consists of a copy of the Division of Coastal Resources Web site produced on December 29, 2010, shortly before Governor David A. Paterson (2008-2010) left office. It contains additional press releases (2008, 2010) and updated information about local and regional initiatives, state and federal policies and requirements, and state and federal grant programs. Also included are guidebooks highlighting how coastal communities have successfully undertaken waterfront revitalization projects, re-used abandoned buildings and sites, and developed effective watershed plans.
Researchers should note that sometime after December 2010, this site was removed from the live Web and its content was incorporated into the main website of the Department of State.
