Scope and Content Note
The series consists of the annual financial reports of soil and water conservation districts in the state. Each report contains a statement of the financial transactions of the district and includes receipts and beginning balances; payments and ending balance; reconciliation of book and bank balances; accounts receivable and inventory; liabilities; and details of expenditures. Some of the reports contain letters of transmittal and other correspondence.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
