Summary:
The Public Authorities Control Board, established in 1976, regulates financing, bonding, property acquisition, and construction
projects of major public authorities. It approves all acquisitions, financing, and construction projects for the authorities,
and also approves funding for all public authorities other than the Thruway Authority and the Municipal Assistance Corporation.
This series consists of original applications, along with some related correspondence and memorandums, submitted to the Public
Authorities Control Board (PACB) by public authorities seeking approval of project financing. Records request the board's
approval pursuant to Laws of 1976, Chapter 38, and the Public Authorities Law, Section 51. Applications typically include
