Scope and Content Note
This series consists of files of the Deputy Commissioner and General Counsel concerning the management and administration of the Legal Affairs Unit and its operations. Records are present for the following staff: Dave Kellogg, Sharon Silversmith, Tony Catore, and Ronald Speier. The files include primarily correspondence and internal memoranda along with daybooks, reports and studies, management plans, and annual reports. The series also contains significant information on court cases in which the Department of Social Services was involved. These records provide insight into the development and implementation of policy within the department.
