Administrative History
The Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Programs is responsible for the analysis and development of policies and programs for economic development in New York State; the direct support of the efficient and effective implementation of State economic development programs; the dissemination of economic and demographic information on New York State; and the provision of services to Economic Development Zones and energy-related and recycling industries.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
