Summary:
This series consists of a variety of documents compiled by the New York State Senate during the Revolutionary War era. Correspondence, petitions, claims, and other documents address such issues as progress of the war, recruitment of troops, procurement of supplies, compensation of individuals for losses sustained or services performed during the war, prosecution of suspected Loyalists, forfeited estates, treatment of Quakers, and the New York-Vermont boundary dispute. Restricted due to severe burn damage.
