Summary:
The State Study Commission for New York City was created by Chapter 413 of the Laws of 1971 for the purpose of attaining efficiency,
economy, and improvement in the operation of city government. This accretion contains a variety of records collected or created
by the commission during its study, including copies of contracts; proposals; bills; testimony; expenditures and appropriations;
newspaper clippings; financial information for municipal agencies studied; and press releases.
