Summary:
The Victory Book Campaign was a nationwide effort to collect books for members of the armed forces. New York State's participation in the Victory Book Campaign was coordinated by the Bureau of Library Extension. These records relate to the acquisition, shipping, and distribution of books; publicity for the program; compilation of program statistics; and American finances. Included are correspondence, press releases, texts of radio programs and announcements, clippings, instruction manuals, statistical reports, fiscal records, fliers, posters, and maps.
